Sam and Tara ‘engaged’ with $2,000 ring during upcoming Bachelor In Paradise finale
THIS hasn’t happened since the whole Blake Garvey-Sam Frost mess. But a couple is reportedly about to get engaged on Bachelor In Paradise, with a $2,000 ring to seal the deal.
A FINALE engagement appears to be on the horizon as the end of Bachelor in Paradise draws closer.
Since the whole Blake Garvey, Sam Frost mess — which saw their engagement called off just hours before it aired in the 2013 finale of the series — producers haven’t really encouraged proposals on camera.
However, earlier this month Woman’s Day reported that Bachelor In Paradise’s Sam Cochrane is going to pop the question to fellow contestant Tara Pavlovic on the series’ upcoming finale.
“They are in love and it’s completely genuine. They didn’t argue once in Paradise — it’s as if they were destined to be together!” the magazine quotes a source as saying.
“He told other boys they’d better not propose to anyone as he didn’t want anything to ruin his and Tara’s moment,” the source added.
The magazine also reports Cochrane, 31, has moved out of his Sydney home and relocated interstate to be near 28-year-old Pavlovic, who resides on the Gold Coast.
According to this week’s issue of NW magazine, Sam chose a $2,000 ring with which to pop the question.
The publication also claims Sam tells the camera in the final episode that he “just knew”, and that Tara is “everything” he needs in a woman.
The pair got together in the early days of the Channel Ten reality series — their unlikely romance shocking viewers. While fellow contestant Michael Turnbull expressed interest in Pavlovic, she quickly felt a spark with Cochrane. The pair bonded fast and became inseparable, even dropping the L-word during Sunday night’s episode.
Despite drama swirling around the Fijian island, the couple have managed to avoid controversy.
