Georgia Love slams Nick Cummins over Bachelor finale
THE former Bachelorette star has joined the chorus of angry fans who have criticised Nick Cummins over the show’s ending.
FORMER Bachelorette Georgia Love has joined the chorus of angry fans who have criticised Nick Cummins over this year’s shock Bachelor finale.
On Thursday night, Nick rejected both Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman saying he wasn’t in love with either of them.
“I won’t be entering any relationships if I can’t give 100 per cent of me. I’m not looking for a girlfriend, I’m looking for a life partner,” Nick told a gobsmacked Brittany.
“And … right now I can’t give 100 per cent of me to you. My head is very cloudy. Ah. Right now I’m a little bit lost. And, ah, and because of that I have to say this time has come to an end and let you go.”
Georgia, who found love with Lee Elliott in the 2016 season of The Bachelorette, took to Twitter to slam the Honey Badger’s decision and questioned why he had even gone on the show in the first place.

I mean I donât know if anythingâs changed since my time but it was certainly a requirement two years ago that the Bachelor or Bachelorette be ready to find someone to settle down with. Thatâs kind of...the point?? #BachelorAu

The TV journalist also criticised Nick for waiting until the finale to express doubts about his feelings.
“I totally get if he (or any Bach/Bachette) doesn’t find The One on the show, but to start bringing up in the finale that you don’t know if you’re ready to settle?? Nope,” Georgia tweeted.

Other previous contestants on The Bachelor and Bachelorette have also taken to social media to voice their frustration over Nick’s double dumping.
“Why go on a dating show if you’re not ready? Publicity, we get it but hello this is a dating show,” Bachelor 2016 star Keira Maguire said in an Instagram Story video.
Meanwhile Bachelor In Paradise star Tara Pavlovic defended Nick’s controversial decision, arguing that a romantic connection couldn’t be forced.
“To say he is a bad person or to be angry at him for not choosing to be with someone out of a group of women who he had no control over choosing is ridiculous,” Tara wrote on her Instagram Story.
“You can’t force love. Thanks for your honesty @nickbadger. Finally … A bit of reality on reality TV.”
