Dumped contestants’ classy response to Bach’s brutal double dumping
AFTER being dumped on national TV, Brittany and Sophie turned to each other for comfort — but they still want answers.
IT’S safe to say that this year’s Bachelor finale didn’t go the way Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley thought it would.
After Nick Cummins told Sophie she wasn’t the one, the 25-year-old returned to her hotel tearfully thinking he had chosen Brittany.
Then in a surprise twist Nick ended up dumping the 30-year-old radiologist too, leaving her to fume that the show was “a giant waste of time”.
But once in the car on her way back to the hotel, Brittany’s thoughts turned to Sophie and she demanded producers take her to the Brisbane native’s hotel room.

Embracing a tearful Sophie, Brittany broke the news that she hadn’t ended up with the Honey Badger.
“It’s almost laughable. He didn’t pick me either, he picked nobody,” Brittany said, dissolving into laughter.
Shocked, Sophie seemed lost for words before replying: “Are you kidding me — are you joking?”
“No, I had to tell you because I heard you didn’t know,” Brittany replied. “I didn’t want you to think it was me, it was neither.”

As they continued to hug each other, Brittany told Sophie she was ultimately glad that neither of them ended up with Nick.
“I don’t know what he’s looking for I feel sorry for him. He’s very, he’s got to be very lost. Do you know what, it’s Nick’s loss,” she said.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Sophie and Brittany said Nick still had some explaining to do, slamming his decision to go to Papua New Guinea during the finale.
“It would have been nice to have had a few answers. To have had some support,” Brittany said.
Both women still weren’t over Nick’s “gobsmacking” decision not to choose either of them.
“We still don’t understand how you could have so many people willing and who wanted to date you and not having one out of those 28 girls to be enough for you to even try with,” Sophie said.
“He told me I was not enough on national TV,” Brittany said. “I did not see it coming. I think I was left pretty speechless. There is a level of embarrassment — you ask yourself, ‘Is there something wrong with me?’”
