Bachelor Matt Agnew cops a roasting on Have You Been Paying Attention?

Comedians including Sam Pang and Tony Martin took great delight in mocking The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew on HYBPA.

The Have You Been Paying Attention? panellists didn’t hold back when The Bachelor appeared as a guest quiz master on the show last night.

Matt Agnew was a good sport as the panellists relentlessly mocked him and the women vying for his affection on the reality show.

Sam Pang fired the first shot right after Agnew was introduced, asking the astrophysicist, “Why have you been single for so long?”

When the Bachelor laughed awkwardly and said he didn’t know the answer, Pang replied sarcastically, “I’m getting a hint as to why.”

Matt Agnew appeared on HYBPA with Tony Martin, Ash London, Sam Pang, Ed Kavalee and Denise Scott.

Agnew then started asking the panellists some questions about The Bachelor, starting with: “Rachael made a big entrance on the first night. What did she do?”

Ash London buzzed in first and guessed, “She got a high school certificate?”

Tony Martin then chimed in with, “She was in blackface?”
The points went to Ed Kavalee when he correctly answered, “To appear not crazy at all she rocked up in a wedding dress.”

As a photo of Rachael in her dress popped up on the screen, host Tom Gleisner joked, “I love the way her lips arrived about a minute before she did.”

The HYBPA panellists poked fun at Rachael's appearance.

The harshest burn of the night went to London whose answer to a question almost rendered Agnew speechless.

After showing a clip from his single date with Sogand on The Bachelor, Agnew asked, “What had I just shown her?”

London, who hosts the 2Day FM breakfast show, answered, “It was a dress for a date, because god forbid a girl can choose her own clothes.”

Ouch.

After a slight pause, Agnew responded, “It was just a gift.”

The Bachelor continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on Channel 10
