Bachelor in Paradise star Bill Goldsmith has lashed out at the show’s lacklustre ratings and accused producers of having “f**ked” him over.

Bachelor in Paradise: final cast revealed

Bachelor in Paradise star Bill Goldsmith has launched a furious tirade against producers and Channel 10, branding the show a “flop”.

Bill has been one of the most talked-about contestants on season two of the Bachelor spin-off, with many fans criticising him for his treatment of Alex Nation and Florence Alexandra.

He came under fire on social media after denying that he sexually propositioned Florence, before publicly accusing her of lying about it.

In a series of Instagram posts, Bill accused Ten of having “f**ked his reputation” through their editing.

“Channel Ten and Warner Bros have f**ked me over all for their ratings, and literally f**ked my reputation,” he wrote angrily in response to a fan. “I’m pretty hurt by the whole thing.”

Bill also took a jab at the network for the show’s struggling ratings.

“A reality TV show doesn’t define me,” he said.

“They have edited me and made me out to be someone who I’m not, all for their TV ratings. The ratings are another flop anyways, so not really sure it was all worth it.”

News.com.au has reached out to Ten for comment.

A mere 533,000 metro viewers (across the five major cities) tuned in to watch the Paradise premiere earlier this month — down 150,000 from last year.

It’s since hovered around the 500,000 mark, and it was recently announced that it will be bumped back to a later timeslot in order to make way for MasterChef when it premieres next Monday.

It follows reports that Bill’s not the only unhappy cast member, with many other stars said to be “horrified” watching the show back, according to the Daily Mail.

“They’re leaving huge stuff out, taking things totally out of context and even cutting and pasting random sentences together,” a source revealed.

“The contestants feel like the show that made it to air is so much different than what actually happened on the island.

“All the Bachelor stars run in the same circles and they’ve been complaining to each other about how badly it’s been edited this year.

“Everybody knows that reality TV is produced and manipulated, but this season felt worse than anybody expected.”

Bachelor in Paradise continues Sunday 7.30pm on Ten.
