Bachelor in Paradise: Laurina Fleure finally reveals the ‘slimy’ comment

BACHELOR in Paradise was thrown into chaos this week when Laurina Fleure slammed a sleazebag Canadian for his “slimy” comment. Finally, we know what he said.

LAURINA Fleure made her dramatic exit from Bachelor in Paradise on Tuesday night, but before that, she helped stage a spectacular coup.

After entering the resort on Sunday, Canadian newcomer and US Bachelorette star Daniel Maguire was convinced he’d managed to manipulate three of the women into giving him roses at the ceremony that evening, securing him from elimination.

Laurina Fleure, Keira Maguire and Nina Rolleston all seemed smitten with the buff personal trainer, but viewers were left repulsed by his sleazy comments behind their backs.

This guy was the worst.

After telling everyone she would give him her rose, Laurina pulled a switcheroo at the last minute and chose Jared Haibon, while slamming Daniel for a “slimy” comment he’d made to her off-camera.

“Towards the end of the cocktail party, Daniel sits there and looks at me and says the most slimy, chauvinistic derogatory comments. This guy isn’t having a healthy affect on the environment here,” she said.

It led to Daniel getting the boot, while viewers were left desperately wondering: what the hell had he said?

In an interview with news.com.au, Laurina has finally detailed exactly what happened between them before the rose ceremony.

“He pulled me aside for a chat and made a really sleazy comment, whispered it under his breath, he goes ‘your ass looked incredible today when you were sunbathing, your knickers tucked up it ... I’m a PT, I know an incredible ass when I see one’,” she recalled.

Laurina, who left the show abruptly after struggling to cope with the death of her brother before filming started, also revealed she’d exposed Daniel to Nina and Keira prior to the ceremony, during which they were going to have to choose one guy to keep on the show.

“They were telling me to give him my rose, so they could keep him in there without giving up their back-up plans [Eden Schwencke and Jarrod Woodgate], and in the end I cracked it,” she explained.

“Like ‘if you’re that f***ing obsessed with Daniel, you give him a f***ing rose.’ He just made the slimiest comments to me. He’s a f***ing sleazebag.”

In the end, the other women followed Laurina’s lead and helped eliminate him from the show.

“Keira told me: ‘I really trusted your judgment, I liked him a lot but I trusted you, that's why I didn’t give him my rose.’”

As for Daniel, he didn’t take his shock elimination from the series too well.

“Am I upset I’m leaving? No. I’m more upset I didn’t get to work out at the gym,” he scoffed in his exit interview.

“All these ladies are stale. Stale bread.”
