Reality TV stars Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska have shared more huge news, less than a year after tying the knot in a surprise wedding.

The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska have shared some exciting news with their fans.

The couple, who first met on Ten’s matchmaking series in 2020, posted an Instagram video on Wednesday announcing that they are expecting a baby.

In the sweet footage, a smiling Locky, 30, is seen standing on the beach dressed all in white, before stepping to the side to reveal his wife showing off her baby bump in a colour-coordinated bikini.

The pair then hug and kiss while holding Irena’s belly, while a cover of Guns N’ Roses’ rock classic Sweet Child O’Mine plays.

“2023 has been a year of surprises, and now Locky and I are thrilled to share the biggest surprise of our lives — anticipating a new member in our family,” Irena wrote in her caption.

“As we revel in our happiness, we’re deeply sensitive to those who face the trials of infertility or have suffered loss.

“Having navigated the rollercoaster of emotions ourselves, we extend our hands and hearts to those on a similar path.

“In the midst of life’s storms, may you find your rainbow soon. Due early 2024.”

Locky and Irena tied the knot in a surprise intimate ceremony in Melbourne earlier this year. They’ve previously spoken about their troubles with fertility, revealing they’d suffered two devastating miscarriages in two years.

“During our first few months together I, unfortunately, suffered a miscarriage,” Irena revealed. “But Locky was my absolute rock and having his support made me love him even more.”

Locky opened up about his excitement to become a dad shortly after their wedding in March.

“I’m super excited to become a dad, but also scared,” he told Who magazine.

“I can’t wait for us to do all the family stuff and from day one, our child will be strapped to a baby carrier and we’ll be out hiking and camping. That’s the plan, anyway!”
