Stu Laundy on Tiffany Tilley romance: ‘It’s complete bulls***! I’ll take a lie-detector test’
AS THE countdown begins to tonight’s finale of The Bachelorette, Stu Laundy has addressed his rumoured romance with socialite Tiffany Tilley.

BACHELORETTE favourite Stu Laundy has called his rumoured pairing with Sydney eastern suburbs socialite Tiffany Tilley “complete bulls***”.
“It’s all complete bulls*** I’m sorry to say,” Laundy told News Corp.
“I’ve never met Tiff. I know who Tiff is, we have very close mutual friends and I don’t know how but we have never met face-to-face, ever. Never, ever, ever. I’ll swear on a stack of bibles. I’ll take a lie-detector test!”
With many viewers pegging Laundy as the favourite to win Bachelorette Sophie Monk’s heart, rumours went into overdrive when the billionaire Sydney publican was romantically linked to Tilley, after it was reported he had been spotted out with a mystery blonde woman while Monk was in Thailand.
Tilley recently separated from husband of 19 years Ben, who is best mates with casino king James Packer. Their Point Piper property — which shares a boundary with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife Lucy — is currently on the market.
“I know one of her (Tiffany Tilley’s) best friends very well and I know she’s a lovely, lovely girl,” said Laundy.
“I know Ben and I’ve met him on several occasions. I don’t know where it came from but I just think it’s absurd and I hope she hasn’t been hurt by this because she’s obviously going through a lot.”
As for the “mystery blonde” Laundy was pictured dining with in pictures published on the Daily Mail, Laundy admits he knows her well.
“Her name is Katie Adamo, she’s been married for 20 years to the best friend I’ve ever had in my life, so that’s just comical really.”
“That photo was taken on the 23rd of September, it was my best mate Dan’s birthday at Catalina (restaurant) and Dan was there. As a matter of fact I think he might have been taking that photo,” said Laundy, as explanation for why Mr Adamo wasn’t in shot.
Laundy also maintains he has rarely been in Sydney to engage in a scandalous affair with Tilley or any other mysterious blondes, choosing to live elsewhere to avoid paparazzi.
“I haven’t been around so all these rumours are all comical. I haven’t been in Sydney. I just got out of town. I’ve spent a lot of time in the last five or six weeks on my own.”
“I’ve only been in Sydney for work meetings or any child-related things but as I said before I haven’t seen my kids for four weeks,” said Laundy, revealing he and former wife Rachel Laundy decided to limit contact to keep media attention off the children.
The Bachelorette finale airs 7.30pm AEDT tonight on TEN.
