Reality star Stephen Bear makes $1m in 12 hours from sex video
This former Celebrity Big Brother winner shocked fans by posting an explicit sex video – but he says the backlash has been worth it.
British reality star Stephen Bear left his social media followers stunned when he posted an explicit sex video of himself to his Twitter account.
But the former Celebrity Big Brother winner, 31, insists he’s had the last laugh, boasting that he’s since earned $1 million in 12 hours as he claims fans are clamouring to watch more content via paid adult entertainment site AVN Entertainment.
British TV personality Bear first found fame a decade ago as a contestant on the reality series Shipwrecked. From there he’s starred in Ex on the Beach, Celebs Go Dating and took out the 2016 season of Celebrity Big Brother.
But lately, the reality TV veteran has pivoted to adult entertainment, and this week posted a 15-second video to his Twitter account showing girlfriend Jessica Smith performing an explicit sex act on him in the shower.
His name soon became a Twitter trending topic – and those who investigated why were in for a surprise:

… and so on. Bear’s girlfriend also boasted about the video, posting: “I’ve heard we are viral on Twitter. 100 million + views.” In fact, the video has 1.4 million views on Twitter at the time of writing.
Bear is one of many former reality stars who’ve turned to adult sites like OnlyFans after their TV work dried up – but few others would post such explicit content for free, without a warning.

A 2019 investigation by The Sun revealed some UK reality stars from shows like Love Island are being propositioned by rich men and celeb-obsessed footballers to sleep with them in exchange for thousands of dollars.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger and British model Sophie Anderton have confirmed they have been offered large fees in exchange for sex – with Anderton revealing she accepted, and made, $90,000 for five “sessions”.

This isn’t Bear’s first brush with controversy – the former boyfriend to fellow reality star Charlotte Crosby is set to go on trial next year after denying voyeurism and revenge porn claims. He’s alleged to have secretly filmed himself having sex with a woman, and distributing the footage to pornography website without her consent.
