Real Housewives of New York star Sai De Silva caught slamming ‘boring’ co-star Rebecca Minkoff

A Real Housewives star was caught on camera shading her new co-star while on a commercial break during an interview.

US reality star Sai De Silva thinks Rebecca Minkoff is “too nice” for The Real Housewives of New York City.

The content creator and RHONY cast member, 43, was caught bashing her new co-star on a hot mic during an interview with Jeff Lewis’ Sirius XM radio show.

“She’s nice. She’s really, really nice, but [she’s] kind of boring, to be honest,” De Silva told a mystery woman sitting next to her. “She’s too nice for the show.”

“She’s going to just get taken down,” the woman said, to which Silva responded, “[The cast is] trying to take her down, but she’s unresponsive.”

Sai (right) seemed unaware her thoughts about her co-star were being broadcast live.

Soon thereafter, a producer let Sai know that she was being recorded. She immediately stopped talking and appeared to regret what she had said.

Page Six previously reported in April that Minkoff was joining the cast of RHONY, which includes Erin Lichy, De Silva, Brynn Whitfield, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Ubah Hassan. At this time, however, it’s unclear how large of a role she’ll play in Season 15.

Following the news of her involvement with the show, Minkoff was tagged in photos and videos shared on social media that showed her at some of the group’s gatherings.

Minkoff was also spotted tagging along with the RHONY cast on their trip to the Hamptons last month.

On Instagram, the style guru posted a selfie video showing off her outfit in what appeared to be the foyer of Lichy’s East Hamptons home.

She wore a buttoned black blazer, gold pants and gold pumps as she went out for a “gals night” with the group.

Season 15 of RHONY is currently in production with stars De Silva, Minkoff (back), Erin Lichy, Brynn Whitfield, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Ubah Hassan.

She also shared pictures of her sporting a pair of black biker shorts and a grey hoodie on a tennis court.

“Played tennis for the first time today. I was bad but now I wanna learn,” she said.

As a nod to herself, De Silva — who was also present for the tennis activity according to photos Lichy shared online — commented on the photo with a shout out to the photographer.

It would seem maybe the influencer is no longer feeling the designer after spending some time together.

De Silva has been an active commenter on the designer’s Instagram posts.

She also commented on Minkoff’s Mother’s Day IG reel saying, “What a lucky mama.”
