Network Ten confirms I’m A Celeb stars are allowed to smoke off camera

HE’S reportedly got a 50 cigarette-a-day habit. And Ten’s confirmed Warnie hasn’t been made give up the smokes while in the I’m A Celeb jungle.

SHANE Warne being allowed to smoke away from the cameras on I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! is not new.

A spokesman for Network Ten says celebrities in last year’s first Australian production of the reality TV show were also afforded the same luxury.

Warne is a chain smoker and has reportedly been allowed to sneak off from the camp site to puff away off camera.

Ten will not confirm which of the celebrities on this year’s series have been smoking but admit there could be more than one personality.

“We will not comment on individuals. But, yes, some people are smoking, as they do in the UK version of the show,” the spokesman said.

“We are encouraging them to quit and assisting them in any way we can, but it is an individual’s decision.”

According to reports, Brendan Fevola and Anthony Callea are also smokers.

Relaxed ... Warnie hasn’t gone cold turkey.
