My Kitchen Rules couple Kat and Andre’s secret Perth wedding

MY Kitchen Rules lovebirds Kat and Andre quietly tied the knot last month and now pics have emerged of their special day by the Swan River in Perth.

MKR’S feisty foodies Kat Donald-Hill and Andre Pagano married in secret last month, and we’ve finally been treated to some snaps of the couple’s stunning day.

The Perth pair, who met through Andre’s mates and became close friends first, recently revealed to OK! magazine that they did indeed tie the knot in January after seven years together.

Kat told the mag: “We were even each other’s wingman/woman on the dating scene before we got together.”

Kat wore a white silk Johanna Johnson dress with a deep V-neck and veil. Her six bridesmaids all wore full-length charcoal-coloured dresses with varying necklines. The couple said ‘I do’ at Pelican Point, on Perth’s Swan River.

Kat and Andre’s reception was held by the Swan River in Western Australia.

Andre, who turns 39 this month, added that they got engaged before his girlfriend’s 30th birthday. “I bullied him into it!” Kat, now 31, joked.

Kat and Andre were the second pair to cook during MKR’s instant restaurant rounds and had a disastrous first crack in the kitchen, scoring just 58 overall. Manu accused the couple of being “stingy” with their portion sizes and said all three dishes lacked seasoning and flavour.

The pair created a bit of controversy a few rounds later, scoring “strategically” during Ash and Camilla’s instant restaurant. “We’re in it to win it. We’ll give out zeros if we have to,” Kat said of taking home the MKR crown.

The newlyweds, who call themselves ‘The Kat and Andre Show’, told the mag they plan to honeymoon in Rome and New York later this year. They’ve also got babies on the brain and are hoping to have two kids.

Kat and Andre escaped elimination by the skin of their teeth last week after mother and daughter duo Gina and Anna fell below them on the leaderboard. The competitive couple will be hoping they can lift their game during the next round.
