With an immunity challenge on the way for Thursday night’s episode of MasterChef, Therese wants to have a little fun in the kitchen.

In a preview clip shared exclusively with news.com.au, Therese explains how she will be attempting to create liquid shortbread.

The judges are extremely concerned with her decision.

“What’s the sandwich bit made out of?” judge Jock Zonfrillo asks her. “A frozen liquid shortbread,” she explains.

“The last time one of those got made in this kitchen it was an extreme fail,” he warns her.

To the camera, Therese explains the situation. “Jock and Mel don’t look quite convinced that this liquid shortbread will be a winner, but I think you need to risk it to get the biscuit, right?” she exclaims, using an excellent pun.

“I’m going to stick to my guns,” she says as she continued to frantically get the liquid shortbread made. “Today is an immunity day. I’m going to have fun. If I fail, it’s a lesson to be learnt not to do it again.”

The suspenseful episode of MasterChef will air on Channel 10, 7:30pm
