MasterChef Junior: Channel 10 reveals who will judge kids’ cooking show

The trio have been announced as the judges on Junior MasterChef Australia which is returning to Channel 10 soon for the first time in nine years.

“We are so thrilled to be bringing Junior MasterChef Australia to life very soon,” Leong said in a statement. “To be showcasing a generation of kids who have grown up with the show and who have literally been cooking for most of their lives, you know this is going to be spectacular.

“Jock, Andy and I are very excited to meet our incredible little cooks, and to see what the next generation has in store.”

Junior MasterChef is coming soon.

The contestants will have grown up with the cooking show which has been running since 2009.

Junior MasterChef Australia will feature contestants aged from nine to 14.

Channel 10 had already announced that the MasterChef spin-off was returning but they hadn’t confirmed who would be the judges.

Back in May, ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand chief content officer and EVP Beverly McGarvey told news.com.au: “In the past when we’ve done Junior, we’ve used a mixture of the original MasterChef judges and some other people, and we’re just working through that now at the minute.”

Ms McGarvey also told news.com.au that they had been thinking about bringing back Junior MasterChef Australia for “about a year”.

“We just think, tonally, there’s a massive appetite for shows that families can sit down and watch together,” she said.

Junior MasterChef Australia is coming soon to Channel 10
