Married At First Sight’s cheater husband’s lowest blow

WE ALL thought MAFS’ cheating husband Dean Wells couldn’t treat his TV wife worse. But he’s now gone to new depths.

JUST when it seemed Married At First Sight’s unfaithful husband Dean Wells couldn’t be more disrespectful to his TV wife, he’s proven us all wrong.

Viewers have lashed out at Dean on Twitter this week after watching him engage in a secret relationship with fellow contestant Davina Rankin behind both their partner’s backs.

Note: These two are not partnered together on the show.

During Wednesday night’s dinner party, the cheating pair snuck off to find a dark corner to grope each other, during which Dean delivered perhaps his cruellest blow to “wife” Tracey — criticising her looks to Davina.

“No offence to Tracey, but her looks aren’t her best quality,” he sniped.

Later, he laughed to Davina as they hugged each other: “We are total a-holes.”

And it seems a lot of people agree with him.

Dean was forced to defend himself last month after being criticised for his “alpha-male” views, which include his belief that men should be “in charge” in a relationship. He also experienced backlash after meeting his bride for the first time and focusing on her physical assets.

He was blasted by Karl Stefanovic during an appearance on the Today show, who described him as “the most hated man in Australia”.

Speaking to news.com.au afterwards, Dean admitted he was worried about how people would judge his behaviour throughout the rest of the season.

“I’m a little nervous that people are going to judge me ... it’s a little nerve-racking, considering what’s happened already. It’s disappointing and hurts my feelings.”

Married At First Sightairs Sunday at 7pm and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.30pm on Nine.
