MAFS wife Evelyn is ‘queen of the season’ for questioning Dan

Fans have praised stunning MAFS newcomer Evelyn for her mission to hold a groom accountable for his bad behaviour towards his wife.

Fans have praised Married At First Sight newcomer Evelyn for refusing to allow a groom to dodge questions about his bad behaviour towards his wife.

Viewers watched in awe during Wednesday night’s dinner party as Evelyn set out on a mission to hold Dan accountable for his actions towards Sandy.

Some information had fallen into her lap after her husband Rupert’s accidental butt-dial during his night out with the boys, and what she’d discovered was simply too unsettling to stay quiet.

“I heard Dan saying some nasty sh*t,” Evelyn told the other wives.

“I know for a fact he was showing them how hot his previous ex-girlfriends were. Then Rupert came back and got drunk and told me Dan was holding up photos of his ex-girlfriends, belittling Sandy, saying his other girlfriends were way better looking than Sandy was.”

Later at the dinner table, Dan initially tried to dodge the details of what was said on the night out but Evelyn pressed him to come clean.

“I know you haven’t been saying some very nice things about your wife and I want you to own up to what you’ve been saying about your wife Sandy,” she said.

Dan insisted he had no idea what she was talking about: “There’s nothing that I have said to anyone else that I haven’t said to Sandy. I’m really confused, Evelyn I just want you to tell me what’s going on.”

“Please just own up to it, that’s all I’m asking for,” she refused to believe him..

“Us boys we had a bit of a chat about what’s been going on with eachother’s partners. I spoke about incompatibilities and some misalignment that we’ve got going on and it’s something that I’ve been talking to Sandy about the incompatibilities and we haven’t been able to get on the same page and it’s been really upsetting.”

To which she Evelyn responded: “Somehow I don’t think you’re going to tell the truth here Dan, just be honest.”

“I’ve got no problems with being honest at all, whatsoever,” he responded.

“Did you hold up your phone and show your ex-girlfriends boasting …”

Dan cut in with a justification: “That’s what I was about to say, Rupert asked me whether or not I had a type. coming into this experiment I never thought I had a type. But one of the things I’ve been learning through this experience is I actually do have a type, and that type is someone who is quite active, into fitness.

But Evelyn wasn’t buying it: “I don’t think that's how you were saying it Dan, cut the s**t”.

She later pulled Dan away for a chat to try to get him to be real with her.

“Look, Dan – here’s the situation. I just want you to tell the truth and say you’re not into Sandy,” she stared him down.

He also had an icy stare for her. “That’s not true, though. I am into Sandy. I love Sandy.”

“...You don’t slander someone behind someone’s back if you love them,” she said.

Fans love the way Evelyn took a stand against Dan’s toxic behaviour, calling her a “badass” and the “queen of the season”.
