An unfortunate production error during Monday night’s episode has fuelled long-held speculation about the show’s producers.

An awkward detail in a Married At First Sight wedding has fuelled speculation about producers’ involvement in the show’s storylines.

Viewers were quick to spot an unfortunate editing mistake during Tayla Winter and Hugo Armstrong’s wedding on Monday night, with the guest walking the bride down the aisle wearing a visible earpiece.

Across its 10 seasons, it’s been alleged many times that MAFS producers play a significant role in devising how scenes should play out.

Monday night’s editing fail comes after a MAFS publicist was called out for controlling a cast member’s radio interview last week.

WA-based bride Bronte Schofield, who is paired with this season’s ‘villain’ Harrison Boon on the Channel 9 dating series, sat down on NovaFM’s Fitzy & Wippa show on Thursday to talk about the explosive events unfolding on the show.

But Bronte, 28, was clearly distracted during the exchange, with Nova posting a video on its Instagram page showing an unnamed network publicist was sat in the studio using various hand signals guiding Bronte on what she could and couldn’t say.

At one point, Wippa even impersonated the publicist, throwing exaggerated thumbs ups in Bronte’s direction as he and Fitzy broke out in giggles.

“Watching your publicist give thumbs ups to your answers is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen,” Wippa laughed.

Elsewhere in Monday’s episode, new bride Tayla had a series of meltdowns ahead of her wedding to Hugo, after admitting in her casting interviews that she is high-maintenance.

“I would definitely say it is Tayla’s way or the highway,” she told producers.

“My control is quite extreme at times, it has impacted my relationships in the past. It can be anything from what we’re having to dinner.”

After breaking down in tears during a stressful wedding dress fitting, Tayla had another emotional episode en route to the actual nuptials.

“I’ve been in this car for about three hours I reckon,” she wailed.

“I feel like I’m going to have a panic attack. Why have I done this? This is so stupid. I’m so nervous now. I don’t want to do this anymore. I want to go back home to Tassie.”

Married At First Sight continues tonight at 7.30pm on Nine.
