MAFS star Tamara Djordjevic has made a shock claim about Domenica’s nude photo, casting the whole controversy in a new light.

A Married At First Sight “bride” has defended the cast amid heavy backlash over the sharing of Domenica Calarco’s nude photo, blaming producers and claiming the photo was “sprung” on the cast.

Viewers fumed when the group discussed the leaked OnlyFans photo, which had been unearthed and shared by Olivia Frazer after her explosive fight with Domenica on the couples’ retreat.

After plenty of conversations behind Domenica’s back, the topic of the photo was eventually raised at last week’s dinner party by Cody Bromley, who asked her: “Does your husband know you have an OnlyFans?”

Olivia found and shared the image of Domenica.

Domenica was confronted about the image at an explosive dinner party.

It led to a heated debate among the cast, who largely blamed Domenica for the situation.

Speaking to Hit Network’s Jimmy and Nath show today, Tamara Djordjevic opened up about the scandal that’s engulfed this season, explaining what really happened on the evening the explicit photo was brought up.

Tamara has blamed producers for the photo being brought up on the show.

The host suggested that Tamara seemed particularly reluctant to discuss the picture in a conversation with producers prior to the explosive dinner party.

“They showed that footage of the producer going hard, saying ‘there’s a photo, what’s the photo’, and you seemed uncomfortable to even talk about it … I felt that whole thing was sort of made from the producers, like they were pushing so hard to make that happen,” Jimmy said.

“Definitely. I don’t think anyone would have spoken about it if the producers hadn’t asked us. And then obviously they turned the narrative around to be, ‘everyone’s a bad guy because they’re talking about it’ … when no one was,” Tamara confirmed.

Olivia (pictured) may have unearthed the photo, but another bride claims producers forced them all to discuss it at length.

“Honestly, it was sprung on all of us. And when we do those voxies – those little interviews before we go to the dinner – we’re all alone, so we don’t have a chance to go and talk to each other, we have our phones taken off us, we’re in our room … we don’t get to see each other until we get to the dinner.”

Tamara also had some very pointed advice for MAFS producers for future seasons.

“Be more honest – they’re not honest at all,” she told the hosts, before joking: “I just wish they’d told us what storyline they were going with for us, so we could at least understand what character to get into.”
