MAFS pair Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos confirm they’re back on with PDA

After a public split and scandal-plagued beginnings, MAFS stars Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos appear to be very much back on in loved-up new pics.

Two months after a bitter public split, Married At First Sight stars Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes have rekindled their romance.

The reality TV couple were seen shopping together in Sydney this week with their arms around each other, giggling and smiling as they strolled through Westfield Bondi Junction.

The MAFS couple were dressed down in active wear for the day out, with Daniel, 31, in trackies and a tee, while Carolina rocked a figure-hugging black Puma set.

It comes just two months after their split made headlines.

In August, Daniel confirmed the news with a statement to Instagram followers, writing: “I think it’s been obvious for a while we have gone our separate ways.”

He continued: “There’s no right way to deal with these situations … I wish Carolina all the best and I know she feels the same for me.

“We had a very unique experience together, full of every emotion possible, but life just has a different plan for us.”

A few weeks later, the pair blocked each other on Instagram, with a source telling Yahoo the split got ugly.

“The split was far from as friendly as Daniel made it seem on Instagram. Especially now he’s heard Carolina started catching up with an ex-boyfriend pretty quickly after they broke up,” they told the publication.

Daniel and Carolina’s TV beginnings were scandalous, and even led to a mass walkout at the show’s final commitment ceremony.

While Daniel had left the show after things with his original “wife” Jessica Seracino fell apart, he continued to see Carolina in secret despite the fact that she was still technically “married” to her on-screen husband Dion Giannarelli.

Choosing to expose their secret relationship together at the final commitment ceremony, both the experts and fellow contestants were shocked.
