MAFS contestants Tracey and Ryan break silence after Dean and Davina affair is exposed

THEY were left publicly heartbroken and humiliated. And now scorned MAFS contestants Tracey and Ryan have thrown in their opinions.

MARRIED At First Sight’s Dean and Davina might be laying low after their affair was exposed in an explosive commitment ceremony on Sunday night, but their spouses Tracey and Ryan are speaking out.

“I had no idea. I had no idea,” Tracey said Monday morning on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa breakfast show. “I mean, I was sitting right next to Dean and Davina at that dinner party. But I just thought it was having a little flirtation. I had no idea what was really going on.”

Last week’s dinner party saw Dean and Davina take their secret fling to the next level, with the pair hatching a plan to leave their partners at Sunday night’s commitment ceremony. In a shock twist, Dean revealed the affair but decided to stay with his wife.

And Tracey took him back. But the version of events given by Dean last night don’t quite match what viewers watched play out over previous weeks.

“If only I knew then what I know now,” Tracey said. “Because I didn’t know any of that until what he said to me — as you saw last night — on the couch. It was all news to me. So yes, there are a few different versions there.”

In the days leading up to the commitment ceremony, viewers also watched Davina befriend Tracey and try to convince her to break up with Dean. Now, watching the events play out on television, Tracey said she she’s shocked at the lengths the pair went to.

“ ... The fact was she was trying to befriend me and be best friends with me, who does that?” she said.

“It’s hard to come back from that. Once the girl code’s broken, it’s broken. And I was taking her on face value as she was trying to befriend me. But not gonna happen now.”

Ryan is kept in the dark by his wife Davina as she attempts to win Dean.

Ryan’s choice to stay in the marriage means Davina is stuck with him.

Appearing on 2Day’s Em, Grant & Ed breakfast show on Monday, Davina’s partner Ryan said watching the secret fling unfold on television over the past week has been “a bit to take on”.

He admitted he thought the bikini model was “the one” when he met her on their wedding day but added he “didn’t love her”.

“We only knew each other for three weeks. But I was very blindsided by what happened,” he said.

The Maroubra tradie also managed to take a few friendly swipes at his TV wife during the interview.

Asked about the love heart tattoo he got for Davina during the series, he told the radio show he now plans on having the word “divorce” inked inside it.

“If I knew she was with Dean I would’ve got ‘Dean’ tattooed on my arm, I guess,” he joked.

And when probed about who he was last intimate with, he replied.

“My wife. The real question is, ask her who hers was. Probably not me.”
