MAFS brides Martha and Ines lock lips during night out

Controversial reality stars Martha Kalifatidis and Ines Basic were seen kissing during a boozy night out in Melbourne.

Married At First Sight stars Martha Kalifatidis and Ines Basic have been photographed kissing during a night out at a Melbourne bar.

The reality TV stars were seen laughing and having fun together as they celebrated Ines’s 29th birthday last month.

Martha and Ines were spotted having some drinks and chatting before leaning in for a few pecks on the lips.

Both women were dressed up for the occasion, with Ines wearing a sparkly mini dress and Martha a halterneck black dress.

Since meeting on Married At First Sight Martha and Ines have formed a close friendship and have been frequently spotted spending time together.

Ines left the reality show last month after her affair with Sam Ball behind “husband” Bronson Norrish’s back was exposed.

During her time on MAFS Ines faced a heavy backlash from fans over her “horrendous” treatment of Bronson.

The legal assistant reportedly struggled to cope with the controversy, with Woman’s Day reporting she had been living like a “recluse” and had lost 12 kilos.

Martha defended Ines’s behaviour in a radio interview last month, telling Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam and Brown she was a “sweet, warm and caring girl”.

“You guys do not see — you see one per cent — a days filming lasts for 16 hours, and you see maybe half an hour of that,” Martha said.

“She is actually a really sweet and warm, caring girl, and really sensitive. It’s shocking she doesn’t come across like that whatsoever.”

Ines has also broken her silence over her time on the show, defending her secret relationship with Sam.

“Everything with Sam and I was done at such a high-paced, emotionally-charged level,” she told 9Honey.

“We connected on a very different level. Like we didn’t really need to speak. We could just feel each other’s emotions.

“He said it was a very spiritual connection, a very mental connection. As if we could read each other’s thoughts and finish each other’s sentences.”

Meanwhile Martha’s time on MAFS has also been controversial, with the makeup artist getting into a bitter fight with Cyrell Paule that turned physical last week.
