MAFS bride Ning gives weird excuse for rude behaviour
Ning shocked viewers with her rudeness to new groom Mark last night — and she’s now given a very strange explanation.
Married At First Sight took an incredibly awkward turn last night when mum-of-three Ning started roasting her new “groom” — right to his face.
From the moment she saw Mark, Ning, 33, was brutal in her assessments. When she reached him at the end of the aisle, she told him bluntly: “I’m just here for the food and drinks.”
Later at the reception, Ning told a shocked Mark that she wanted to “block” him.
“I was just saying I can’t block you like on social media. That’s what I do — I block people in my life. If I’m not keen, I block,” she said matter-of-factly.

Appearing on Nine’s MAFS spin-off Talking Married alongside Mark last night, Ning attempted to justify her cold behaviour, explaining that it was “12 degrees at the time” and she was freezing.
Despite her excuses, the hairdresser admitted she was mortified watching herself on TV.
“Oh my God. I cringed so hard. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry, Mark’,” Ning said.
“He knows. He knows I was nervous. You know … It was just a big experience away from my children. Marrying this complete stranger. It was 12 degrees at the time. And you know, in Townsville, 25 degrees, I need to wear a cardigan.
“I don’t actually think before I speak, whereas Mark does. It’s word vomit, a bit of verbal diarrhoea.”
Meanwhile, despite her initial behaviour toward him, Mark also defended his “wife”.
“For her entire life Ning has just put everyone first. The more I got to know Ning there’s a massive heart there,” he said.
“That’s what was missing at the wedding, but in fairness there was a lot of nerves. Ning tried to use a bit of her own humour to cover up a bit of her nervousness.”
When they first met at the altar, Mark had joked to Ning that he was “worried” she wasn’t coming.
“It’s been a long day. I’m pretty sure you didn’t have to get up at five. You didn’t have to do hair and makeup,” she responded scathingly, before remarking that she was cold, prompting Mark to warm his hands with his breath and rub her arms.
It was meant as a romantic gesture, but Ning made it clear she found it unacceptable, shrieking: “Ugh, any excuse to touch me.”
Her critical behaviour sparked a strong response from viewers, with many using Twitter to slam producers for casting her on the show.

Ning needs to do a lot of work on her abandonment issues. Did the experts not notice this? Poor choice for a match. #MAFS

Youâre constantly outdoing yourself âexpertsâ... Ning needs a whole load of therapy before she can even begin to think of entering a relationship, let alone marrying a stranger! #MAFS
