MAFS bride Carolina hangs up on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa

This year’s “cheating” MAFS bride Carolina abandonded a live radio interview this morning after one tough question from Fitzy.

Married At First Sight bride Carolina Santos has abruptly cut off her radio interview this morning, after the beginnings of her “cheating” scandal unfolded on Monday night’s episode.

The 33-year-old business owner, who is paired with Dion Giannarelli on the dating series, was seen “flirting” with fellow MAFS groom Daniel Holmes, whose ‘wife’ Jessica Seracino left the experiment last night.

Previews for tonight’s episode show Carolina and Daniel continue their secret liaisons, with the narrator suggesting they embark on an “adulterous” relationship.

Carolina has hung up the phone during an interview on Fitzy & Wippa.

Carolina is paired with Dion on MAFS.

On Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa this morning, the hosts had an excruciatingly awkward chat with Carolina, which went downhill after they asked her if she was more interested in Daniel than Dion.

“Look, Daniel is definitely good looking. He’s definitely more my type right? But yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say,” she said.

Fitzy then brought up the controversial “rank your partner challenge”, which saw Carolina place Dion third last, while he put her first. During the episode, Carolina accused Dion of “lying” when he placed her in the number one spot.

A tough question from Fitzy.

“Yeah, maybe at this point we weren’t getting along,” Carolina said. “I don’t know, I think we were at that point where we’re just not flirting so much, [it] was more like a friendship.

“[But] I’ll give him credit. He’s been like, obviously trying.”

Given Dion’s efforts to make the marriage work, Fitzy asked Carolina, “What are you doing [then]?”

“I think I’m just having too much wine with Daniel and too busy doing that,” she joked. “No, actually, I don’t know, he is trying. I struggle trusting men for things that I’ve gone through and I just stopped because we weren’t getting along and not just looks, a bit of a personality as well.”

Carolina and Daniel met up for a secret wine date on Monday night’s episode.

Clearly struggling to get a straight answer out of Carolina, Fitzy took her to task with a rather brutal question.

He said: “There’s a little level of etiquette in there as well, Carolina, that if someone, you put him seventh out of everyone or do and he put number one and you accused him of lying and trying to make himself look better. Now Carolina. I know this is harsh, but you’ve got a 16-year-old son. Do you think that’s you’re setting a good example for him?”

Crickets.

“Carolina? I think she’s hung up,” Wippa said. “I don’t think she liked the line of questioning; you gave her a bit of a nudge there.”

Daniel left the experiment last night after he was dumped by his wife Jessica, but pursues Carolina from the outside as the pair meet up for a rendezvous on tonight’s episode.
