Married At First Sight brides Sara Mesa and Cassandra Allen reportedly spark an all out war on this year’s series as it progresses.

Cassandra came out of Monday’s premiere episode as a major fan favourite, while Sara faired less well with viewers due to her tumultuous relationship with her groom, Tim.

The two brides are reportedly set to become bitter rivals as the show gets underway, with multiple explosive clashes between them during the season’s dinner parties.

According to insiders, Cass sparks a huge row after expressing her frustration with the way Sara treats Tim after she bails on “multiple” dates with him.

“Things really hit the fan between Sara and Cass,” an insider told Daily Mail. “It all started over a misunderstanding involving Tim. Sara felt ambushed by Cass’s sudden outburst.”

The insider went on to claim that the rest of the MAFS come to know Cass as the “smiling assassin” for her quick-witted one-liners.

“Cass has this way of stirring the pot. She’s not one to hold back, especially if she thinks someone’s not being genuine,” continued the source. “And with Sara, she’s been relentless.”

However, another inside said that Cass simply grows frustrated with Sara for not being “sincere” with Tim.

“She did it calmly but directly, telling Sara that she wasn’t paying enough attention to her relationship with Tim and was coming across as insincere. Every time they tried to address the issue with Sara, she became defensive and rude.”

Meanwhile, Cass won over viewers last night as she shared her heartbreaking personal story.

However, Sara struggled to leave a good impression on viewers after she clashed with Tim on a number of occasions.

After a tumultuous wedding day that saw Tim admit to almost marrying his ex just six months prior, and a “rancid” wedding speech from his best man, the pair managed to make it to the first night of their honeymoon just about intact. However, after arriving in Fiji, everything began to unravel Tim committed a cardinal sin; telling a woman to “relax”.

“Have you ever dealt with women before? To tell me to relax when I’m very clearly NOT freaking out? You KNOW that would piss me off!” she yelled “I just wish you didn’t say that. I’m in such a mood now. I think everyone can agree that when you tell a woman to relax …”

Unable to calm herself down, Sara decided she’d had enough and announced she was leaving before walking off the beach.

“He’s, like, so f**king annoying!” she moaned after leaving her groom to dine for one.
