Evelyn and Duncan have made their first big public appearance

The unlikely pairing from Australia's most watched reality show have hard launched their relationship online.

Former Married At First Sight contestants Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James have hard launched their relationship online.

The loved up duo were also spotted sauntering around Australia’s Fashion Week at Carriageworks in Sydney.

They held hands, made love eyes at each other and looked like a hot new couple. The pair surprised everyone with their hook-up because they weren’t matched on the show.

Duncan was matched with single mum Alyssa Barmonde on MAFS. Although they were a favourite for a while, things went south because Alyssa used the line “I have a child” far too much and eventually revealed she only wanted to see him outside the experiment once a month.

In the end, they broke up, and Alyssa launched “I have a child” merchandise.

Meanwhile, Evelyn joined the show halfway through the season and was matched with nervous Rupert Bugden.

He was nice enough, but ultimately, Evelyn decided not to renew their vows at the end of the season because she pointed out Rupert didn’t put enough effort into their relationship. It took him six weeks to ask her on a date – ouch.

Evelyn and Duncan were coy about their relationship for about two minutes and are now very candid about how they fell for each other.

She posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram and wrote: “It all led me to you.”

Duncan confirmed toNineexactly how the two got together post reality show.

“We started hanging out a bit after the show, and everyone is friends from the cast and Evelyn and I live in Sydney, so we hung out a bit more, and all of a sudden, we went on a couple of nights and all the warm and fuzzy feelings happened in my stomach and one thing lead to another,” he shared.

Evelyn’s revealed that she loves Duncan because of his “positivity” and because he is “always looking on the bright side of things.”

While Duncan has shared that he finds Evelyn “adorable,” and revealed she’s a “nerd at heart.”

Evelyn also revealed that the rest of the cast is happy for the pair. “We have been welcomed as a couple in the most positive way.”

Duncan even shared that Rupert had given the couple their blessing, but no official word on what Alyssa thinks.
