Domenica Calarco asks Robert Irwin out for a beer after ‘predatory’ backlash

After copping backlash for revealing her attraction to 18-year-old Robert Irwin, MAFS star Domenica Calarco has responded with a cheeky video.

Married At First Sight star Domenica Calarco is shooting her shot with Robert Irwin.

After copping backlash for telling the teen he looked “so handsome” on one of his recent TikTok videos, the 29-year-old took one step further and publicly invited Irwin out for a beer.

Dom took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to share footage of herself with an extra beer, blowing the wildlife warrior a cheeky kiss as she asked him to join her.

Tagging Robert’s Instagram account, Dom said: “Hey Robert, I got a beer. Why don’t you come meet me for a drink?”

Dom MAFS asks Robert Irwin on a date

Dom’s invitation comes after the reality star was slammed as “predatory” for flirting with Robert.

“God you are so handsome!” Sit With Us podcast host Dom had commented beneath a video posted by the teenager last month.

But while some followers egged her on, the flirty comment quickly landed her in hot water.

“Ask him out!” one suggested in the replies, prompting Dom to add: “Robert, would you like to come to the Logies with me?”

The 18-year-old has been looking very grown up lately.

Others were not impressed by Dom cracking on to the teen given the significant age difference between them.

“You’re literally 28? This is f***ing creepy? I was a fan of yours,” wrote one person while another agreed: “That’s f***ing creepy”.

Another called it “gross, predatory behaviour” and told her: “Be a better human and do better.”

“In Australia, legal age is 16. He is 18. He can drink alcohol. I can ask him to come to the Logies with me, and say that he is handsome. Take a chill pill everyone,” Dom hit back.

Dom isn’t alone in her internet crush on Robert, after the son of legendary Croc Hunter Steve Irwin emerged looking very grown up in a cover shoot for Stellar magazine published over the weekend.
