Posting a loved-up photo of himself with his new girlfriend, Dean Gibbs subtly referred to claims levelled against him this week.

“The couples that are meant to be, are the ones that go through everything that is meant to tear them apart and come out even stronger,” he captioned the photo of the pair cuddling on the grass.

Gibbs subtly addresses the cheating claims with a sweet photo on Instagram.

Maitland, 25, took to Instagram this week to announce she was dating the Melbourne plumber. Soon after, reports revealed Gibbs is as a disgraced former Victorian police officer who has been convicted for drug trafficking.

He was sentenced to 12 months jail in 2014, wholly-suspended.
