AFTER denying he was dating Sophie Monk, MAFS’ Ryan Gallagher has been busted bragging about the blossoming relationship.

AFTER denying he was dating Sophie Monk, Ryan Gallagher has been busted bragging about the blossoming relationship in a men’s bathroom.

On Friday YahooBereported the MAFS contestant and Sophie were seeing each other, however, the story was swiftly denied by both Ryan and the Love Island Australia host.

But on Monday, Brendan Fevola revealed Ryan had shown him text messages between the two at a Melbourne charity poker game on Friday night.

Brendan told Fox Hit 101.9’s Fifi, Fev and Byron that he had run into Ryan in the bathroom when the wannabe comedian began bragging about the relationship.

“We were washing our hands and I was like, ‘Mate have you found love?’, just taking the piss, and he was like, ‘Yes I have, I’ve met someone,’” Brendan said.

The AFL star turned radio host claimed Ryan showed him “all these text messages”, which were saved under the name “Sophie Monk with a love heart”.

“He said, ‘Oh it’s really hard, we’ve started dating but we met before and she’s doing Love Island now in Spain’ … so they’ve been back and forth texting each other every day, he’s in love!” Brendan said.

Meanwhile also on Monday Jackie ‘O’ Henderson confirmed she had introduced Ryan to her longtime friend Sophie after a night out.

“He said I reckon Soph and I would be great mates, and I messaged her once on Instagram but never heard back, and I said, ‘Yeah I think you two would get on well,’” Jackie told the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“ Next time I spoke to Sophie I said, ‘Hey there’s this Ryan guy’ … I said he was on this show and I think you guys would get on really well.”

Copping a grilling from co-host Kyle Sandilands, Jackie insisted the MAFS star and Sophie were “just friends”, before getting Ryan on the phone to explain himself.

“No I’m not dating her, yeah we’re talking … she’s overseas we haven’t even met,” an uncomfortable-sounding Ryan said.

Revealing they talk “on the phone just every now and then”, Ryan confirmed he was single but denied he planned to date Sophie when she was back in Australia.

While Ryan is being cagey about the rumours, he previously told The Fix Sophie was his “ideal girl”.
