Love Island stars accused of having secret girlfriends
WHILE it’s stipulated that contestants be single before going on the show, two male Love Island Australia stars have been accused of having secret girlfriends.
TWO male Love Island Australia stars have been accused of having secret girlfriends — despite appearing loved-up with female contestants on the series.
Photos posted by popular Facebook account Love Island Australia Memes on Tuesday claim to show Eden Dally and Grant Crapp in photos with their girlfriends.
The post about Grant includes two photos of him with another woman alongside a comment from another fan page in which the commenter claims to be his girlfriend’s cousin.
“No joke! His girlfriend is my cousin!” they wrote. “They live together and they were still 100% together when he went on the show. He was just going in there to promote himself and his fitness brand royal apparel!!!”
Meanwhile, the post about Eden shows him with his arms around a blonde woman and was reportedly taken on March 31, and is captioned “World’s #1 liar this guy,” and “red flags”.
While neither contestant has responded to the allegations, both posts have attracted more than 50,000 comments.
The Fix reports Eden’s mother has commented on the post about him, claiming the woman pictured with him is not his girlfriend.
“She was just another random. This poor girl is obviously seeking publicity for herself,” she wrote.
In order to be eligible for Love Island Australia, contestants must be single and willing to hook up with other contestants.
Both have been going steady on the show with female contestants, with Grant saying “I love you” to Tayla Damir and Eden asking Erin Barnett to be his girlfriend.
Channel 9 declined to comment.
