Kylie Jenner ‘gets rid of lip fillers’
AFTER sparking a global demand for cosmetically enhanced lips, Kylie Jenner claims she has gotten rid of her fillers — but there might be more to the story.
SHE made big pouts a worldwide beauty trend and is earning millions of dollars selling lipsticks through her brand Kylie Cosmetics.
But now Kylie Jenner, 20, claims she has stopped getting cosmetic injections and turned her back on the look that made her famous.
Sharing a photo of herself and friend Anastasia Karanikolaou on Instagram, fans were quick to comment that Jenner’s lips looked smaller.
After one person wrote that she looked “like the old Kylie”, Jenner responded: “I got rid of all my filler.”
Jenner’s confession was met with compliments in the comments, with fans praising her more natural and youthful look.
However judging by the photo, Jenner may not have completely given up on getting injections just yet.
While her lips are smaller, they still look more plump than photos of her taken prior to getting fillers — suggesting she is either in the process of having them dissolved or is getting less injected.
In 2015, Jenner finally admitted she had been getting lip injections for the last two years, after previously maintaining she had just been overlining her lips.
“I have temporary lip fillers,” she revealed on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do. Everyone always picks us apart. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie.”
On a 2017 episode of Life Of Kylie, Jenner said it had been comments from a guy that she had a crush on that tipped her over the edge.
“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips,” she said. “I had really small lips, and it was, like, one of my first kisses, and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you’d be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ I took that really hard.”
