I’m a Celeb: Viewers accuse Ryan and Charlotte of faking romance

Things are heating up in the jungle between Ryan Gallagher and Charlotte Crosby, but some viewers are convinced it’s all an act.

There’s a romance brewing in the I’m a Celeb jungle, but is it legit?

Married At First Sight reject Ryan Gallagher and former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby slid into each others DM’s last year but they didn’t actually meet until last Sunday’s episode of I’m a Celeb.

Throughout the week they’ve flirted up a storm and were even filmed kissing and canoodling in camp while the other contestants slept.

But some I’m a Celeb fans have accused Ryan and Charlotte of faking their romance in order to get more airtime on the Channel 10 show.

Ryan and Charlotte have been getting very close in the jungle.

It was also revealed this week by TV Blackbox that Ryan and Charlotte just happen to be represented by the same talent agency, Stage Addiction.

But according to one of Ryan’s best mates, the suggestion that he is faking his romance with Charlotte is “ridiculous”.

“There is no way Ryan decided to be part of a fake relationship,” the mate, who wished to remain anonymous, said. “It’s just not who he is.

“Ryan is beyond honest and if anything is too open with his thoughts and opinions. Plus he’s the worst liar!”

Ryan’s friend added: “I really like Charlotte for him. From what I’ve seen they’re both massive balls of energy with zero filter.”

This year’s I’m a Celeb stars.

Charlotte’s jungle romance has already made headlines in the UK and one of her former Geordie Shore housemates has claimed Ryan could be the perfect man for her.

“I think he’s a bit of a mix of all Charlotte’s ex’s rolled into one,” reality star Sophie Kasaei said. “He doesn’t look dissimilar to an ex named Mitch.

“Charlotte loves someone with a personality and humour. If you can make her laugh then you have ticked all the boxes.”

Kasaei also revealed what exactly went down between Ryan and Charlotte on social media before they met on I’m a Celeb, saying: “I know they followed each other and started liking some of their pics back in December, but nothing serious.

“I think they may have started chatting around Christmas, but they never would have expected to end up in the jungle together.”
