I’m A Celeb 2018: Vicky Pattison and Paul Burrell enter the jungle
A ‘ROYAL insider’ and a high-profile British reality star entered I’m A Celeb - but will they spice up a show rocked by two contestant walk-outs?
WITH two high-profile contestants quitting the show in its first fortnight on air, I’m A Celeb had a much-needed injection of fresh blood in tonight’s episode with the debut of two new celebs.
But the two celebs joining the show - former Royal butler Paul Burrell and UK reality star Vicky Pattison - underwhelmed some viewers.
First to be announced was Burrell, 59, who was a footman for Queen Elizabeth before becoming Princess Diana’s butler and lived at Buckingham Palace for 11 years.
Since then, though, he’s become something of a reality show veteran, starting out on the 2004 UK series of I’m A Celeb and then Australian Princess, Celebrity Big Brother, and Celebrity Stars in their Eyes - frequently trotting out stories about his close bond with the late Princess Diana. Not everyone is a fan.
#ImACelebrityAU letâs start taking bets now, how long will it take Paul Burrell to drop Dianaâs name when he gets to the camp and meets everyone?

And with over 2 million Twitter followers, there’s no denying Vicky Pattison is well known - in her native UK. The Geordie Shore cast member, 30, even won the 2015 season of the UK version of I’m A Celeb. But while Aussie Geordie Shore fans were in heaven at the announcement, many other viewers had one simple question:
âNobody knew who I was before I went in.â I still have no clue who you are. #ImACelebrityAU

I guess this is a Geordie Shore person? What are MTV's ratings in Australia? Because last I checked, super low. First time on this show I've had no idea who a "celeb" was. #ImACelebrityAU

Will the pair have what it takes to spice up a reality show battling after the shock walk-outs of both tennis player Bernard Tomic and boxer Anthony Mundine?
