I’m A Celebrity 2018: Boxer Anthony Mundine’s vile anti-gay rant after jungle exit
BOXER Anthony Mundine has unleashed an explosive rant about homosexuality after his shock departure from I’m A Celebrity.
CONTROVERSIAL boxer Anthony Mundine has let rip on an explosive rant about homosexuality, saying it is forbidden in his religion and in Aboriginal culture.
Mundine made the comments after abruptly quitting reality show I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! after less than two weeks in the South African jungle.
Citing missing his kids and a fear that he may grow to become friends with arch nemesis Danny Green, Mundine unexpectedly walked from the show.

“I was the show, let’s get it straight,” Mundine told News Corp. “For the first week and a half, I was the show. It wasn’t Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, it was the Mundine show.”
Prior to going into the jungle, Mundine, who practices Islam, controversially stated he doesn’t believe in homosexuality, contraception or abortion.
He also said he doesn’t think homosexuals — either people or characters — should be allowed on television as he fears it would influence children to become gay.
“They are not going to be happy until they have primary school kids being gay,” he said when asked to clarify his views. “I talk the truth. It is the system. I don’t care if you are gay or not, it doesn’t worry me because the creator will judge you later. If you are going to be gay, do it behind closed doors, that is how it used to be in the olden days.”
* Anthony Mundine will appear on Channel Ten’s The Project tonight at 6.30pm.
