Fans of The Chase left amused after all the contestants share names with Friends characters

THESE Chase contestants were lined up and ready to take on The Chasers — leading many fans to point out the funny Friends-related coincidence.

FANS of The Chase were left tickled after today’s four contestants all shared names with the cast of Friends.

Contestants, Rachael, Ross, Phoebe and Joe could be seen lined up and ready to take on The Chasers — leading many fans to take to Twitter to point out the funny coincidence.

One mused: “Chandler and Monica must’ve been busy”.

“This is funny, contestants on The Chase called Rachael, Ross, Phoebe and Joe”, another said.

One Twitter user and Friends fan screen-grabbed their electronic TV guide alongside the caption: “Friends reunion on The Chase”.

Another added: “Wow the cast of Friends sure have changed.

“The other contestant is called Joey too. I am NOT joking.”

But, it seems that the would-be Friends gang weren’t quite the same force to be reckoned with as the TV favourites.

When it came to the final round it was just Joe and Ross left against The Vixen but, with one second remaining, The Chaser wiped out the players — leaving them going home empty-handed.
