Biggest Reality TV Blow Ups

Get ready for drama … The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is returning to the silver screen and they’ve got a new — very famous — cast member joining the ranks.

Denise Richards, the stunning actress and ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, will star in Season 9 of the uber popular reality TV show, which follows the lives of a group of affluent ladies living lavish lifestyles in the glamorous city.

But it’s not all champagne dreams and caviar wishes, with the show’s major appeal leaning toward the catfights, betrayals and cheating scandals, all of which you can lap up when it airs onFoxtel’s Arena channel tonight.

Richards, 47, has lived a lot of her life in the public eye, largely thanks to her failed marriage with Hollywood bad boy, Sheen, with whom she has two children, Sam, 14, and Lola, 13. She also adopted daughter Eloise, 7, in 2011.

Their relationship breakdown made headlines for years — and in a preview for her debut RHOBH season, Richards gives fans a hint more drama is to come.

“My problem with the tabloids? My real life is so much juicier,” she said.

It is hard to imagine how that is possible following her bumpy life over the years.

Sheen and Richards were married in 2002 before announcing their divorce in 2006, when she was pregnant with her second daughter.

It quickly turned ugly when Richards filed a restraining order, claiming Sheen physically and verbally abused her, while also threatening to kill her.

They appeared to reconcile in 2012, after being photographed out and about with their daughters together, but in June 2015, following his colossal downward spiral after being sacked from Two And A Half Men, Sheen randomly blasted his ex-wife with a tweet describing her as “a heretic washed up piglet” and “shame pile”.

The model said despite their turbulent times in the past, her and Sheen were finally in a “good place”.

“He and I are in a good place today. I always focus on that and focus on the girls,” Richards told Foxtel magazine.

“They don’t need to be privy to any discord. I want them to see things to be positive.”

Richards married her partner Aaron Phypers, the ex-husband of Nicollette Sheridan, in September last year, which will feature on the new season of RHOBH.

“He’s a great guy. He’s game for being part of it (RHOBH),” she said.

“I can’t wait for everyone to go on this incredible journey with me this season. It has been a wild ride so far.”

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills returns to Arena express from the US at 1.35pm today, with an encore at 8.30pm.
