Ciarran Stott’s exit from The Bachelorette leaves fans devastated
Ciarran’s exit from The Bachelorette broke all our hearts. Now, fans are pushing for a light at the end of the tunnel for the fan favourite.
Outgoing The Bachelorette favourite Ciarran Stott has received an outpouring of support in the wake of the death of his nan, which saw him leave the dating show unexpectedly.
Shortly after the devastating scenes aired on Channel 10 last night, which saw Ciarran breaking down to Angie Kent as he told her about the recent death of his loved one, fans flooded social media to express what a “gorgeous” man he was, as many petitioned for him to be the next Bachelor.
Former Bachelorette Georgia Love also took to Twitter to reveal she’d fell “in love” with Ciarran.

Well. Who on earth would have thought back in the pre-show promos that weâd all fall in love with Ciarran ðð #BacheloretteAU

Can't we just pause filming of the #BacheloretteAU for like, 6 months or whatever until Ciarran comes back? pic.twitter.com/4MuQyMb7Tf

Ciarran, deep in his own grief, trying to cheer Angie up because she's been through "enough" for one night. HE IS AN ANGEL. #BacheloretteAU

Telling Angie about his loss, Ciarran expressed how important his nan was to him when explaining why he needed to leave.
“It was a sh*t upbringing but my grandma was, like, my saving grace,” he said.
“If I’m gonna be here, I honestly want to be, like, the best version I can be for you. And with everything that’s going on, I honestly don’t feel like I can be.
“I feel like we’ve got a connection but it’s really hard for me to do this.”
While his decision to leave the series left Angie “heartbroken”, the former Gogglebox star comforted Ciarran, assuring him she respected his family came first.
“I would never make you pick me over your family,” she said.
Speaking to Ten Daily today, Ciarran said it was one of his biggest regrets leaving, with the show filmed several months ago.
“I don’t regret much in life, but I do regret leaving the mansion,” he said.
“I feel like I should have gritted my teeth,” he said. “Only a few more weeks and I could have been the number one.
“Looking back, it was a mistake to leave.”
Last night’s episode also saw “stage five clinger” Jamie Doran get booted from the mansion, with the fireman telling the website he had no regrets.
“I do call a spade a spade, I don’t have a filter and I feel that the Jamie you saw is the true Jamie – and I never changed the person I was from day one, I honestly didn’t,” he said.
#Ciarran2020 anyone?
