Bachelor winner Alex Nation photographed with rumoured girlfriend Maegan Luxa

ALEX Nation seems to have finally confirmed her breakup with Bachelor Richie Strahan after pictures of her and her girlfriend surface.

FOR fans holding out hope for former Bachelor couple Alex Nation and Richie Strahan, new pictures of Nation with her rumoured girlfriend seem to have killed the reality stars’ relationship once and for all.

Nation found herself at the centre of the rumour mill earlier this week after New Ideapublished pictures and a report revealing she had left Strahan for a woman — her fellow Frankston Bombers WFL teammate Maegan Luxa, a 31-year-old Melbourne chef and landscaper.

After news of their relationship came to light, the couple have since been photographed this week, as Nation accompanied Luxa to the hospital.

The couple didn’t seem to mind the attention from photographers at all as they shared a laugh and appeared smitten with each other before heading into Royal Melbourne Hospital.

As they walked into the hospital, Nation was photographed affectionately placing her hand on Luxa’s back and despite Luxa’s painful injury, the pair seemed to be constantly smiling while wandering Melbourne.

Luxa, who was forced to visit the emergency room after an injury she sustained from an AFL game earlier this week, later left the hospital with her arm in a cast.

After they left the hospital, the couple seemed to go for a quick grocery shop before dodging the paparazzi attention. Luxa, clearly less accustomed to the attention from photographers, left her sunglasses on the entire time.

Nation and Luxa’s relationship was first reported by New Ideawho quoted a “friend” of the Bach star as saying: “It started a month ago with Maegan. They play footy together for the Frankston Bombers and Alex started to have feelings. As it turned out, those feelings were mutual.

“They are now inseparable, spending very few nights apart, but it was all a bit of a shock. Up until this point, Alex had only ever had relationships with men.”

Last year’s Bachelor, Richie Strahan, chose single mum Alex as the winner of the show, and while the pair enjoyed a high-profile romance, it has appeared to cool off in recent months, with mounting speculation that the pair had parted ways.

The couple’s last public appearance was at this year’s TV Logie Awards way back in April.

Strahan, who has stayed silent on social media for the past month, was reportedly blindsided by Nation’s first same-sex relationship.
