Bachelor star sells engagement ring after split

AFTER announcing their split by posting a photo of the moment they got engaged, this Bachelor in Paradise star is moving on.

AFTER announcing his split from Tara Pavlovic by posting a photo of the moment they got engaged, Sam Cochrane is moving on from the failed romance.

The Bachelor in Paradise star has revealed on Instagram he will be auctioning off the diamond ring he used to pop the question to Tara during the show’s finale.

In the lengthy post, Sam revealed he would be donating the money to a men’s mental health charity.

“It’s time to move on and having the beauty sit in a box, when it could be doing good for others in need. This is really important to me,” he said.

After weeks of speculation the couple announced their split earlier this month, with Tara since deleting all photos of her and Sam together.

The couple met while filming Bachelor in Paradise last year and had gone onto to score multiple sponsorship deals thanks to their relationship.

In a statement posted on her Instagram story, Tara denied that she and Sam had faked their relationship.

“What we felt was 100 per cent real and we both put our best efforts in to make it work in the real world, but unfortunately for different reasons it didn’t work out,” she said.

While the couple are yet to give specifics on how their relationship ended, Sam’s mother Rosie Wynter appears to have taken a swipe at Tara on Instagram.

Tagging her son in a post shared last week, Rosie wrote: “Life and people can be cruel. Those you love can betray you.”
