CONTROVERSIAL Bachelor contestant Keira Maguire was so unhappy with her appearance when she watched the dating show on television, she resorted to drastic measures.

The gorgeous blonde reveals she suffered from insecurity about her looks when tuning in to the show, in which she became one of the more divisive contestants vying for Bachelor Richie Strahan’s affections.

“The first night I watched the show I was sitting there like, ‘Ew, this is f****d,’ My nose is just so bad on camera,” she reveals in the latest issue of NW Magazine.

Viewers either loved or hated Keira, who was one of the most controversial contestants on The Bachelor.

The 30-year-old reality star admitted she’d “always wanted to be perfect,” and so set about researching cosmetic surgery procedures.

She’s had lip fillers, Botox, cosmetic eyebrow tattoos and even ‘vampire facials’ — but by far the most expensive and invasive procedure was a nose job, carried out by a Sydney cosmetic surgeon.

Maguire documented the procedure and its aftermath in a diary published in NW — with some rather gory details included.

Never the shrinking violet, Keira gave as good as she got during her dates with Richie.

“Every morning I wake up to dripping blood down my throat,” she says in day three of the diary, explaining she has “to cough it up.”

As she healed from the procedure, Maguire was overjoyed with her new, smaller nose.

“It was such a little thing, but my nose made me feel so insecure. Now I’m an much more confident person,” she writes. She’s been showing off the results of her transformation on social media in recent weeks:

The cost for all this cosmetic surgery? Over $22,0000 and counting, as Maguire has no desire to slow down her quest for physical perfection.

“I’m thinking of having a boob job next,” she revealed to the mag.

A return to reality TV might also be on the horizon: Maguire’s made no secret of her desire to be the next Bachelorette, promising that she’d be “a lot nicer” if she was in the driver’s seat on the show.
