Contestant on Abbie Chatfield’s FBoy Island infuriates viewers

A contestant on Abbie Chatfield’s new show, FBoy Island, has made a bonkers claim about vaginas. Here’s why it was so wrong.

OPINION

Abbie Chatfield’s FBoy Island has launched and it has already made me ask myself a big question: Is there such a thing as bad p*ssy?

It all started in a very predictable way. A woman shared something about herself and a man used it against her.

Caleb, one of the male contestants, decided he could explain why another contestant, Molly, was cheated on.

Molly admitted that her ex had cheated weeks before their wedding.

“I had planned my whole wedding, was head over heels in love and then I surprised my fiance at work and caught another woman bent over the desk,” she explained.

She obviously shared how that was hurtful. It was raw, candid and relatable.

Or was it a crime to be solved and sleuth Caleb was on the case?

Caleb seemed to treat Molly’s admission like a question, as if she’d just turned around and shouted at a bunch of men: “Why did my ex cheat on me?”

Molly didn’t ask that question, but you best believe Caleb answered it.

He decided Molly was to blame for the fact her partner cheated and concluded she probably didn’t have “good p*ssy”.

Of course, he didn’t say this to Molly’s face, he said it behind her back to a group of men …. because isn’t that just sweet and progressive?

To the credit of some of the other men on the show (I’ll learn their names when they do something actually interesting), they immediately admonished Caleb’s baseless claims.

And when I say ‘they’ I mean like one or two. Plenty stayed far too silent for my liking and I definitely won’t ever bother to learn their names.

Despite the backlash, Caleb really felt he was on to something, and concluded he was stating “facts”.

So this begs the question is there such a thing as lousy vagina?

No.

The answer is a very loud – pretend Ricki Lee is belting it out in your ear – the answer is absolutely no.

The idea that vaginas can be classified as bad or good is just so completely ridiculous and ignores all logic.

All vaginas are good!

I can’t stress that enough.

There’s just so much wrong with Caleb’s statement, and the idea that women are at fault for men’s behaviour is outdated and exhausting.

Should we blame Jade Yarbrough for Michael Clarke’s actions?

Why do we assume if a man behaves badly there is something wrong with the woman? Clearly the person who is prepared to betray their loved one is the person who deserves the criticism.

This is all just utterly ridiculous, and yet clearly men still feel this way. They feel so strongly about it, they head on a reality show and start yapping their opinion to anyone who will listen.

Someone hand me some headphones because it is 2023 and women should not be subjected to this outdated drool, and we shouldn’t have to waste our energy responding to it.

We should spend our time going on hot girl walks and dating men who see women as equals, not to blame for their shortcomings.

There is no such thing as a good or bad p*ssy, but there is such a thing as good and bad men, and I think we know exactly what kind of guy Caleb is.
