Sam Frost fails to stay awake during all-night Star Wars movie marathon

ROVE McManus and Sam Frost’s all-night Star Wars movie marathon wasn’t exactly a success, with the Bachelorette falling asleep before the finish line.

Rove and Sam Frost stay up all night watching Star Wars

ROVE McManus and Sam Frost attempted to pull an all-nighter on Monday night in a bid to watch all six Star Wars films, but unfortunately the former Bachelorette dozed off before they reached the finish line.

Despite having to hit the airwaves at 6am this morning, the 2DayFM duo agreed to the epic movie marathon in an attempt to bring Frost — who admitted to never having seen a Star Wars flick — up to speed before the release of The Force Awakens this week.

The radio stunt, appropriately named ‘Forced Awake’, was live streamed on the 2DayFM website and saw the pair settle in to watch the movies back-to-back, before rolling into work straight afterwards.

That’s 13 hours and 17 minutes worth of viewing time, no wonder Frost fell asleep.

“Look I got into it, got bored a bit, but hopefully I’ll get into this one a bit better,” the 26-year-old reality TV star said after watching episode four, A New Hope.

She didn’t.

Posting a photo of his sleeping co-host on Instagram, Rove wrote: “I think we’ve lost @fro01 but it’s hard to tell as she’s such a master of disguise. #ForcedAwake #notawake.”

Rove, who is a massive fan of the space franchise and was dressed in head-to-toe Star Wars merch, settled in for the last couple of flicks by himself.

But it wasn’t long till delirium set in and the wheels started to fall off for the comedian.

Kudos to the pair for fronting up for work this morning, it’s going to be a long day.
