Sam Frost debuts painful love song for Sasha

SAM Frost tried her hand at a new skill on radio this morning while co-host Rove and partner Sasha watched on. The results were pretty painful.

SAM Frost, we mean this in the nicest possible way: don’t give up your day job.

The reality star-turned-radio host has given singing a go, recording a love song — of sorts — for boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek that got its first (and possibly last) radio spin on Rove & Sam on 2Day FM this morning.

Frost solicited advice from pop heavy hitters including Ryan Tedder and Delta Goodrem when making the song, but they might not want to take any credit for the result.

Heavier on the vocoder and autotune than Cher’s Believe, we’re going to go out on a limb and predict Crash Into Sash isn’t the start of an Adele-esque chart domination for Frost.

If she does properly release music, it’s just a shame the name BACHELOR GIRL is already taken.

Here’s a sample of the lyrics:

When a girl meets a guy, and all of Australia watches

You feel the pressure to tick all of the boxes

But I lucked out with a guy named Sash

He’s a mighty big unit but he sure can pash

And how’s this for a chorus:

Crash into Sash, crash into Sash

You’re super tall, and super hot, and guess what girls? I hit the jackpot

Look, we’ll at least give her bonus points for getting the word ‘Pash’ into a song for perhaps the first time since Kate Ceberano’s hit of that name in 1998.

Look at his face, he’s just loving it.

Sasha himself was in the studio to hear the song for the very first time — and while he politely suggested his girlfriend should stick to being a radio host, he also kindly described the song as ‘Daft Punk-esque’, which suggests that he really will do anything for love.

Frost returned to radio last week following a midyear hiatus that took a dramatic turn when she posted a worrying social media message declaring that online bullies and trolls had “won” and “broken” her.
