NOVA FM radio star Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald had a physical altercation with pop brat Justin Bieber at the Coachella music festival.

TV AND radio star Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald had a physical altercation with pop brat Justin Bieber at the Coachella music festival in the US.

The incident took place when Fitzy, who hosts the Nova FM breakfast show in Sydney with Wippa, was invited backstage to watch AC/DC perform.

“I was running around, jumping around,” explained Fitzy to Nova FM drive host Tim Blackwell on air yesterday.

“I’m on my phone, right, I’m walking with my head down and my backpack on. I’d had a few beers.

“I look up and it’s just a wall ... of huge black guys. And down the front was this little dweeb. Justin Bieber is right in front of my face.”

As Fitzy tried to squeeze past the 21 year-old singer, things got a little bit physical.

“He put his hands out and pushed into my side and I’m like, ‘You’re kidding yourself mate, I’m twice the size of you.’

“I sort of leaned into him and these huge guys just grabbed me by the backpack and have just thrown me into the fence on the side.”

From the sounds of it Bieber was in a feisty mood at the festival. He was reportedly placed in a chokehold and thrown out of Coachella after a scuffle with bouncers.
