Roxy Jacenko hung up on a Triple M radio show this morning after being “berated” on air.

Jacenko prerecorded an interview with Triple M Sydney breakfast hosts Lawrence Mooney, Jess Eva and Chris Page before 7am to discuss her short-lived appearance on Channel 7s SAS Australia.

Jacenko, who received over 2000 ‘trolling’ comments on social media after her appearance on the show, was so offended by the interview that she told Channel 7 to cancel all her media commitments for the rest of the morning (although she did speak to KIIS FM when Kyle Sandilands called her number directly live on air).

Triple M Sydney aired the interview with Jacenko after 8am, but news.com.au understands it was edited to remove at least one offensive comment from Mooney.

The Triple M host allegedly dismissed a comment from Jacenko that her health was her main priority after overcoming cancer, with Mooney saying that wasn’t relevant because it was three years ago.

Here’s some of the exchange that went to air on Triple M after 8am.

Jacenko: “What they failed to show on the TV was that I fractured my hip and pelvis six weeks previous. But forgetting all of that, I’m actually disgusted and upset that people are so mean to each other.”

Jacenko: “Let’s not forget, this is a show for entertainment. I’m glad I left when I did because if others’ entertainment is Candace Warner bashing me in the back of the head when I’ve turned my head, do me a favour, I don’t need to be a part of that for other peoples entertainment.”

Mooney: “But you knew what you were going into … You knew exactly what you were getting into, because you said to your orthopaedic surgeon you were going to jump out of a helicopter. So let’s not play Roxy the victim here.”

Jacenko: “I’m not playing the victim at all. I think what I’ve just said is that it’s very clear tall poppy syndrome is alive and well.”

Mooney: “Let’s not spend too much time talking about how we need to be kind. Roxy, you couldn’t make the grade last night and you dropped out and people just piled on. That’s part of the deal of reality TV.”

Jacenko: “And you’re doing it too. I left because I had a fractured hip and pelvis and didn’t wish to put myself through any further potential injures.”

Mooney: “Why would you have even gone into it if you had a fractured hip and pelvis?”

Jacenko: “I got up and I showed up and that’s the most important thing to me.”

Mooney: “And you dropped out.”

Jacenko: “You know what, let’s leave this here because you’re doing exactly what the people on the internet are doing.”

Mooney: “I don’t actually do social media, mate.”

Jacenko: “I’m gonna leave that here.” (HANGS UP)

Eva: “OK, well I think you’ve upset Roxy. I don’t think we’ll be getting her back.”

Page: “She’s hung up.”

Jacenko later spoke to Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM and mentioned her trainwreck interview with Triple M.

“To be berated as I just was on Triple M by whoever he is, wow!” Jacenko said.

“What did they say?” Jackie O asked.

“Basically that I was a loser,” Jacenko replied. “I could hardly get a word in edgeways.”
