KYLE Sandilands has labelled former Friends star Matt LeBlanc a “tosser” and an “a**ehole” after an awkward radio interview.
Kyle and Jackie O prerecorded their interview with Matt LeBlanc and his fellow Top Gear co-host, Chris Evans, last night but the shock jock admitted he didn’t want to air the interview “because of the total lack of giving a sh*t from Joey (Matt LeBlanc)”.
“The guy said about 15 words in the whole interview,” Kyle said.
Jackie O, who has interviewed LeBlanc a couple of times in the past, said, “Matt’s never into it ... it’s hard work”.
Kyle and Jackie O reluctantly aired snippets from the interview this morning, with Kyle describing it as a “disaster”.
Some of the questions they asked Evans and LeBlanc included:
“Who is the better driver out of you two?”
“Do you guys believe that you can pull a chick if you have a good car?”
“What do you guys think of those hanging tags in the car, you know, the air freshener things? Cool or not cool?”
But LeBlanc didn’t put much effort into his answers, often just replying with a couple of words.
“The guy’s an a**ehole,” Kyle said on air this morning.
“I was really pi**ed off because I thought, why am I giving up my evening for these pr**ks?”
“They weren’t pr**ks,” Jackie O said.
“Matt was,” replied Kyle, later adding, “What a tosser!”
Kyle finished the segment by declaring “I now hate Matt LeBlanc”.
“Here I was for the last 20 years feeling sorry that Joey (LeBlanc’s failed Friends spin-off) didn’t work out and now I know why, because you’re an a**ehole.”
Top Gear will air on BBC Knowledge at 8:30pm on May 30.
