Kyle Sandilands busted lying about pashing Isla Fisher

On radio this morning Kyle Sandilands revealed the moment he was exposed for lying about hooking up with a well-known Aussie actress.

Kyle Sandilands was “mortified” when he was busted lying about hooking up with an Aussie actress.

The radio star recalled the incident on KIIS FM this morning.

He said that when he first met Jackie O back in the day, he made up a story about kissing Isla Fisher when she was in Queensland to promote Home And Away.

“She [Isla Fisher] got sent up to Mackay where I was working at the radio station. I had to driver her around from thing to thing,” Kyle said. “We got a Paddle Pop and ate it at the beach.

“I made up this big lie when I first met Jackie that I’d made out with her on the beach … did the full deal.”

He continued: “I didn’t go into detail but I gave the impression to Jackie, I’m banging celebrities, always have been.”

Years later, when Isla Fisher became engaged to Sacha Baron Cohen, the actress was a guest on Kyle and Jackie O’s radio show. And Kyle was horrified when Jackie O brought up the story.

“Jackie brings it up with her … all the blood drained out of my body,” Kyle recalled on air this morning. “I felt like I had a wound on the bottom of my foot and all my blood was pouring onto the floor. I was mortified.”

The duo then aired audio from the interview with Fisher during which the Aussie star denied she had ever kissed Kyle (you can listen to that audio in the video at the top of this article).

Laughing about the incident, Jackie said on air: “It makes you question all the other celebrities you’ve said you’ve slept with … There’s a few in there I’m thinking, ‘Did he really?’”

“No, no, that was an early lie,” Kyle said, adding that he hasn’t lied about hooking up with any other stars.

“That was a really mortifying moment for me, being exposed with Jackie on the radio talking to millions of people with the woman that I’d made the lie up about,” he said.

Isla Fisher married Sacha Baron Cohen in 2010 and the couple have three children together.

They currently live in Sydney.
