Kyle and Jackie O: Kiis FM breakfast show number one in radio ratings

KYLE and Jackie O have put a string of recent controversies behind them to regain the number one spot in the Sydney FM brekky radio ratings.

They’ll be celebrating big time today.

KING Kyle is back on top.

The fifth round of radio ratings for the year was released today and it shows that Kyle and Jackie O have overtaken WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda who held the number one spot for the past two surveys.

In a statement to news.com.au about the result, Sandilands said, “It’s great to have our breakfast show back at number one again”.

He also joked about his penchant for sick days, saying, “Isn’t is amazing when we all show up for work?”

The results will be a welcome relief for the Kiis FM duo who have had to weather a few controversies recently.

Two weeks ago Jackie O stormed out of the studio just 40 minutes into the show and didn’t return for the rest of the day after having a fight with Sandilands off air.

The radio duo were again in the headlines for all the wrong reasons last week with Channel 9 presenter Erin Molan speaking about how she was “disrespected” on the Kiis FM breakfast show.
