RADIO host Kate Langbroek has suffered a bleeding forehead after trying prove her horseback skills the day before the race that stops the nation.
The 50-year-old, who co-hosts KIIS FM’s Drive show with comedian Dave Hughes, is shown in a video posted on YouTube on Monday on a “bucking bronco” ride as part of a promotional stunt.
“Gee, that is hard,” Langbroek said as she face-planted into foam mats after just three seconds on the machine, cutting her head.
“Oh my God I can feel blood dripping,” she says as a St John’s Ambulance worker wipes the blood from her forehead.
“I’m not sure if it was the worst accident I’ve seen but it was certainly the funniest,” said the owner of the bucking bronco.
Dave Hughes posted a picture of Twitter of his bleeding co-host, writing: “This woman bleeds for entertainment. #warrior”.
