Radio star Jackie “O” Henderson has fired up on-air over persistent rumours she once had a cocaine addiction.
Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has fired up on-air over persistent rumours she once had a cocaine addiction.
The Sydney radio star set the record straight this morning on The Kyle & Jackie O Show after it was brought to her attention that the rumour was still doing the rounds to this day.
“Remember when I was a coke wh**e?” she asked co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Henderson went on to reveal she was out with friends over the weekend when one of her mates, Simon, was told by a group of girls that the bartender was bragging about kicking her out of a bar back in the day due to her alleged drug use.
“We were at a bar and these girls walked up to him and told him the bartender said he had to kick Jackie O out because he busted me doing coke in the toilet,” Henderson shared.
“This a**ehole is trying to pick up girls by hurling s**t at me and making a story up about me.”
But Simon was not going to allow the disrespect to continue and approached the bartender, who Henderson said was an absolute “d**k”.
“He walked up to the bartender and ripped him a new a**ehole,” she shared.
“He said, ‘Mate, what are you doing?’ You’re making up stories about my friend to try and get girls.’”
Henderson said people need to stop faking stories to impress others because nasty rumours stick.
It was back in 2020 that the radio personality first opened up about the rumours on air, saying it began in the mid-2000s after she lost a lot of weight at the time.
“It’s because I got really skinny,” she explained on the radio show, claiming it was all started by a “few people” in her industry who wanted to start drama.
She then swore on her daughter Kitty’s life that she had “never done cocaine”, claiming that “I’ve just never been interested. I really haven’t.”
