Inside Hamish Blake’s extravagant birthday party as fans notice missing partner in crime
Hamish and Zoe Foster Blake have undergone huge transformations as they celebrated the comedian’s birthday - but there was one noticeable absence from the star studded event.
Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake have undergone major transformations as they celebrated the comedian’s birthday - but eagle eyed fans have noticed one of their closest friends was not in attendance.
The couple transformed their Vaucluse home into a Las Vegas casino over the weekend for Blake’s 42nd birthday.
The pair and their famous friends donned extravagant costumes for the occasion.
Blake went all out with a wig, spray tan and sequined tiger print jacket as he and comedian Ryan Shelton dressed up as Sigfried and Roy.
“...thanks to my wig who let me taste the pure thrill of a thick head of hair that a lot of blokes in their 40s can only dream of,” he wrote on Instagram.
He was joined by radio personality Michael Wipfli and Fitzy, Wippa and Kate executive producer Tom Ivey, who made their own white tiger costumes.
The group posed for a hilarious photoshoot in front of a Las Vegas sign, with Blake and Shelton riding on top of the radio giants in costume.
“...a special can of the good cat food to big sweaty tigers [Tommy Ivey] and [Wippa], thanks for keeping the mauling to a minimum,” he joked on social media.
Meanwhile, Foster Blake rocked her own paired costume as one half of Sonny and Cher, complete with a custom bejewelled sheer body suit and beaded wig.
The author and skin care founder channelled the acclaimed singer’s outfit from a show at Vegas hotel Caesars Palace.
Blake described his wife as an “absolute smoke show” and thanked her for putting together a “Cher-riffic bloody event”.
The party even featured cash with the couple’s faces on it.
While images from the party made it seem like all fun and games, fans were quick to notice a major absence at the star studded event.
The second half of the Hamish and Andy duo, Andy Lee, was nowhere to be seen at the party.
“Where’s Andy,” the top comment on the post read as another said, “No Andy?”
A quick look at the comedians Instagram reveals why he was not in attendance, opting to travel to Tasmania to play golf instead.
“One final golf drop… for now,” he wrote in a post.
He missed out on the lavish party, where guests were seen dancing and playing poker with personalised $10,000 notes from “The Bank of Blakes”.
“What happened at the party, stayed at the party. Except for these photos. And the ones in stories. And all the other ones,” Blake wrote after the event.
